Dem senators to introduce bill banning 'bump stocks'

A group of Senate Democrats is rolling out a bill banning a device that can simulate automatic gunfire with a semi-automatic gun weapon.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) announced that she and other Democrats will introduce legislation on Wednesday to ban the devices, known as "bump stocks."

"The bill ... would ban the sale, transfer, importation, manufacture or possession of bump stocks, trigger cranks and similar accessories," according to a release about the forthcoming legislation.

I hope someone is reading the fine print. Because no doubt these lying SOS's will try to slip some other gems into this bill.

I think I'm going to go ahead and order one right now (if I can find one in stock). Just an investment, I personally think they are useless toys when it comes to people who don't have nefarious uses.


But realistically, a 'bump stock' type device can be made with a rubber band and a belt loop. If someone wants to get around this, it takes a few minutes to do it at home.

Typical knee-jerk leftist "feel good" idiocy.  Ban something that would do nothing to solve the problem of mass killers in this reality we're living in.   The problem isn't the hardware, guys (duh).  It's the mentality, the evil, the insanity and the violence being incited by radical Islamists AND by those on the left of the 'sore loser' political aisle.

My MIL (Democrat) this morning said they should be outlawed.  I said why, you can make them yourself for almost nothing.  Just look it up on the internet. 

She doesn't dare talk about banning guns in this house.  She could get herself sent to a nursing home.
