Senate Judiciary Has Deal to Subpoena Manafort
« on: September 28, 2017, 03:01:46 am »
Senate Judiciary Committee leaders have reached a deal to issue a subpoena to former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, CNN reported Wednesday.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., told CNN that both she and panel chairman Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, agree on several key items as part of their probe of Russian meddling.

Grassley told CNN there had been a deal on aspects of the probe, but that final details were being worked out; he declined to elaborate.

The former lobbyist has previously denied financial wrongdoing regarding his Ukraine-related payments, his bank accounts in offshore tax shelters and various real estate transactions.
