Watching just 20 MINUTES of violent shootout scenes in 'The Rocketeer' makes children more likely to use guns
Scientists showed children a clip from The Rocketeer or National Treasure
Half saw a clip featuring a gun, while the others saw an edited version
The children were allowed to play with toys, including a gun that couldn't fire
Those who'd seen the gun-version of the film pulled the trigger an average of 2.8 times compared to an average 0.01 times in the non-gun group
