Arachnophobes look away now: Mysterious species of bright BLUE tarantula baffles scientists

    The incredible video shows a Poecilotheria metallica tarantula
    The spider is bright blue with white stripes, and can only be found in India
    It is currently listed as critically endangered on the IUCN Red List
    Scientists suggest that the blue colour may have evolved to help the spiders hide from predators, but add that they 'don't know yet'
