7 signs Robert Mueller's Russia investigation is getting serious
by Gabby Morrongiello | Sep 24, 2017, 12:01 AM

While President Trump made headlines this week for his provocative rhetoric on North Korea and the Obama administration's nuclear deal with Iran, several major developments related to the ongoing probe of possible collusion between his associates and Russia flew quietly under the radar.

Each new disclosure about the direction and breadth of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation lent credence to what many legal experts have been saying since the former FBI director began hiring lawyers with expertise in corruption, foreign bribery, and white collar crime: This is serious, and some in Trump's orbit should be worried.

"There is a good chance Mueller will probe whether the advertisements "showed any of the kind of sophisticated targeting that might indicate that Americans had provided assistance," the Atlantic's David Graham wrote earlier this week."

We're down the rabbit hole.

Serious? This has been nothing but a desperately grasping fishing expedition so far.

Now we're doing Facebook ads. If they don't find collusion there, then what?

Sorry, guys, but I'm for Mueller exploring every avenue.  I want him to do a thorough investigation, even if it involves Facebook ads and phony Twitter accounts.  All this whining and moaning about Mueller's investigation makes me wonder whether Trump and his cohorts have something to hide. The more they all crow about this investigation,  the guiltier they look.

Let the guy do his job.  If nothing is found, that's that.  What's the big deal?   And if there is wrongdoing, wouldn't you want the perpetrator(s) brought to justice?   You probably did when Hillary was being investigated.

I think Applewood is being ironic.

That's good.

To a point yes. But with an eager media wanting to whip even the most trivial thing into a frenzy firestorm, you end up with Scooter Libby style gotchas that never actually prove anything, just destroy people based on alleged 'contempt' and 'perjury' that were politicized setups from beginning.

While going down every avenue and coming up with nothing really gets the liberals in a twist, if Mueller comes up bupkis after a certain point then it needs to be cut off before things start getting manufactured just to find something.

Fine let me know when he instigates the murder of Seth Richards, Comeys' leaking to medai, Clappers lying to congress and Hillarys' misuse of gov emails. Until then witch hunt!

And meanwhile..... the US taxpayers are on the hook, per usual, for this elaborate and very expensive open-ended (which means no end in sight) ""investigation"" ....which is nothing more than a fishing expedition with no grounds or evidence, whatsoever, to go on.   Bottom line.... the left is out to "get" Trump any way they can.... and this Mueller thing is just one more attempt to nail him.   If there was really something substantial or solid evidence-wise to go after Trump on, it would have already been leaked to the pressholes.... and he'd be on his way out the WH door.  Get....a....clue.

These "investigations" are always partisan, and seemingly always skew against Republicans, Democrats are always found innocent of all evil.  It could be that the only crooks are Republicans, or it could be the investigators are Democrats and willfully biased.  One of those two things.

This is where it's worth noting virtually all of Mueller's investigators are Democrats.  Does anybody dare to make book with me how this is going to turn out?

Because no one accused of being a witch should feel nervous about getting hanged on trumped up claims.  Normal people do not worry about an inquisitor sent to look for heresy.

And yet the lying,  corrupt and stupid Obama administration has not had an investigation launched against it.   Hillary Clinton,  who should have gone to jail back in 1975 for lying to a Federal judge and fabricating court documents,  and who should have gone to jail several dozens of times since then,  has not had an Inquisitor investigation launched against her.

This is use of Federal power to advance a political narrative.   It is the pursuit of politics by usage of the Deep State machinery.   It is an attempt to override the results of a democratic election,  and it should not be condoned.
