Trump Jr. declines further Secret Service protection: report

Donald Trump Jr. has reportedly given up his protection from the U.S. Secret Service because of privacy concerns.
A senior administration official told The New York Times that the Secret Service stopped protecting President Trump's oldest son last week.
The Secret Service declined to comment on its protection of Trump Jr.
“To ensure the safety and security of our protectees and their families, we will not confirm who is currently receiving Secret Service protection,” Secret Service spokeswoman Catherine Miller told the newspaper.
The agency provides mandatory protection to the president and vice president. It also provides protection to family members, including children and grandchildren, but those people can decline protection at any time, according to the Secret Service website.
