Pelosi shouted down by protesters during DREAM Act conference

A protest erupted on Monday at a press conference held by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in San Francisco, according to local reports.

Pelosi was holding the conference with fellow California Democratic Reps. Barbara Lee and Jared Huffman to call for the passage of the DREAM Act, which would allow recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and other undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as minors to remain in the country.

The protesters who interrupted the conference were calling for a “clean” DREAM Act — one that didn’t make concessions to Republicans on border security.

Pelosi snoops into what she can get out of it.

The beneficiaries of her actions turn on her, for doing what she can for them.

Give them an inch, . . .
