GOP eager for potential Kid Rock Senate bid
By Ben Kamisar - 08/27/17 10:30 AM EDT

Kid Rock’s flirtation with a Senate bid has Republicans thinking he could be the party's best shot to win next year's race against Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.).

The rock star — real name Robert Ritchie — would likely dominate the primary field if he entered the race and comes within striking distance of the Democratic incumbent in recent polling.

While most Republicans still believe a bid is unlikely, they are enticed by the prospect of a candidate with deep pockets and universal name identification.

What Ted Nugent said about it on the Frank Beckmann show a few weeks back.

I wouldn't rely too heavily on what Nugent has to say ... Kid Rock has been at least thinking about the idea, last I heard he has decided against it.

He is a conservative.  I have no doubt.  I just don't think he has the knowledge nor the time to devote to the duties of a Senator.  Could you imagine though; Senator Kid Rock??  Lol... the liberal heads would be spinning faster than a 'fidget spinner'!

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
