BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Emboldened and proclaiming victory after a bloody weekend in Virginia, white nationalists are planning more demonstrations to promote their agenda following the violence that left a woman dead and dozens injured.

The University of Florida said white provocateur Richard Spencer, whose appearances sometimes stoke unrest, is seeking permission to speak there next month. And white nationalist Preston Wiginton said he is planning a “White Lives Matter” rally at Texas A&M University in September.

Also, a neo-Confederate group has asked the state of Virginia for permission to rally at a monument to Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee in Richmond on Sept. 16, and other events are likely.

I know you are sarcastic, but these 'nationalist' movements aren't about appreciating any single culture (and there is no single 'white' culture anyway). They are about propelling one group above others. It rejects individualism and liberty and promotes group collectivism and division. There is a reason why these groups are more often than not, socialist.

My great-great-great uncle was Widerstand. He did what was right but didn't end up well (murdered in Dachau).  I would rather follow his footsteps (to the end) and resist all these groups than join for 'safety' or to just get along.

Well it would be in both the MSM and white supremacists' interest to include as many non-liberals under the extremist rubric as possible.

This is my understanding:

White supremacists believe whites are superior and should rule over other races.

White nationalists want to make a nation based on whiteness.

White separatists just want whites to live seperate from other races.

Identitarians want to establish themselves as a white advocacy group like the NAACP. This is basically alt right ideology although all these groups overlap a lot.

The interesting thing was he wasn't Jewish. He was just a shopkeeper and bookkeeper. Just an average citizen who would have been safe (other than being a Freemason, they were targets too). One of these days I'm going to write a novel based on it. He didn't have huge heroics, helped spy and pass along notes and hide books and such. Just the story of an everyman.
