Forget about Nancy Pelosi. The true leader of House Democrats is . . . Maxine Waters.

On today’s Morning Joe, Commentary editor John Podhoretz flatly predicted that if in 2018 the Democrats win a 10-seat majority in the House, they “will impeach” President Trump.

Moreover, Podhoretz said that “the table is being set pretty nicely” for Dems to retake the House majority.

Note: After impeachment by the House, a two-thirds majority in the Senate would be required to actually remove President Trump from office. Podhoretz wasn’t predicting that: “I’m not saying he’s going to be convicted and thrown out of office.” Listen carefully to the clip and you’ll hear Scarborough murmur “oh, he will be impeached.”

It sure does support the argument for secession. CA. wants out of the union because they can't stand Pres. Trump. I say help them go, set a precedent. It cuts both ways. Yes, it's been building.  All the fake news, the accusations, the obstruction, the disrespect towards the President has been unbelievable; meanwhile we now have a serious situation with the former head of the DNC hiring Pakistani IT personnel Imran Awan and family members, suspected of violating House policies and banking fraud, which is yet again another 'incident' leading back to Clinton. Civil unrest would certainly divert focus from the massive corruption taking place and keeping their own House from crumbling down around them.

The Republicans have broken their promises to the voters.  Expect them to lose seats in both houses.  Ted Cruz is popular in Texas.  He might keep his seat.  A few others.  But I see a voter backlash starting next year.  Not that voters will deliberately vote for Democrats.  They just won't show up on election day.

No, there won't. Internet keyboard commandos tend to talk like this, but it won't happen.

Impeachment doesn't necessarily mean anything anyway. So I'm skeptical it will happen.

I'm also skeptical the Dems will retake the house in 2018, but that is within the realm of possibility.
