Longhorns unveil lockers that cost $8,700 each

The University of Texas unveiled their remodeled football locker room on Wednesday night. Each player's locker is estimated to have cost more than $8,700.
The University of Texas football players were allowed inside their newly renovated locker room for the first time Wednesday night and - judging by photos posted on Twitter - they were quite pleased.
The Longhorns unveiled one of the most opulent locker rooms in the country with individual lockers that are estimated to cost $8,700 each. Industry sources estimate the typical new FBS lockers cost about $4,000 each.
These aren't your average lockers though. Each one comes with a 43-inch monitor instead of the standard name plate.
The locker room upgrade is part of a $10 million renovation of the Texas football facilities, which also includes a weight room renovation, an upgraded field entrance with "enhanced lighting, imagery and technology" and renovated football offices. ...
