Trump: Social Media 'Only Way for Me to Get Truth Out'

President Donald Trump defended his use of social media, saying it is the “only way to get the truth out.”

Trump remarks came as he ripped into the news media in a Tuesday morning tweet:

I don't think he's 'afraid' of the media at all.  I think he's furious at them and doesn't trust them (for good reason) and he really thinks he can get his message directly to the public by tweeting.

As someone else said, if you think the next president (and the one after that) won't Tweet in some way shape or form then you're wrong.

Aside from the silly personal attacks, which are embarrassing to everyone, I think Trump's Tweets on actual policy are perfectly fine.

As someone else said, if you think the next president (and the one after that) won't Tweet in some way shape or form then you're wrong.

One problem is he almost sabotages or undermines the good with the asine. We saw it during the campaign too. As soon as he says something good or is in a good position, he makes a dozen childish tweets after it, burying the good with the retarded. It is almost like two different people are tweeting on the same account.

Like going on FOX and friends, telling them the story about Rafael Cruz being involved in the JFK assassination then appearing on Wolf Blitzer's show 2 days later and saying he never beloved the story but he "wanted to win".

Trump has never been anything more than lying garbage and will never be anything more than lying garbage.

(Trump may end up regretting that now that there's a lawsuit against he and FOX over him using FOX to push the Seth Rich conspiracy theory to distract from the investigation of his Russia ties)

We can find if they really want truth by how they answer 1 simple question.

Trump is not using Twitter to get the "correct" story out since he allegedly can't trust the media to do it.  Trump uses his Twitter account to attack and accuse those he doesn't like.  And his tweets are designed to tell his loyal fans what to think on a particular issue or subject.  It's his way of giving them their daily talking points.

Supposedly, there is a separate White House Twitter account which his staff uses.  Fine.  Let someone else in the White House disseminate news and information in a non-confrontational manner and Trump can be free to do what he was elected to do in the first place -- be a leader, instead of wasting time and effort being a bully.
