Angela Merkel REJECTS ‘Refugee’ Limit for Germany After Accepting Over One Million in 2 Years

Jim Hoft Jul 17th, 2017 10:21 am 0 Comments

Germany, a country of 82 million, welcomed from 800,000 to over one million migrants and unvetted “refugees” in 2015.

Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomed close over 280,000 migrants in 2016.

This weekend German Chancellor Angela Merkel shut down the idea of creating upper limits on refugees entering Germany.
Deutsche Welle reported:

A nonhoft view of the situation in deutschland.

(CNN)German Chancellor Angela Merkel has ruled out setting an upper limit on refugees coming to Germany, defying her long-term coalition partner on an issue that threatens to open up a rift between the country's ruling political parties just two months before federal elections.

"On the issue of an upper limit, my position is clear," Merkel said in an interview broadcast live on Germany's ARD on Sunday. "I won't accept one."
Merkel will need the support of the Christian Social Union -- the more conservative sister party to Merkel's Christian Democratic Union -- in order to remain Chancellor after September elections.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
You have European politicians like Merkel in liberal enclaves actively working against her self-interest and destabilizing her own political and economic base. The $1T question is why.
The Republic is lost.

German history.

Actually its globalism.

By forcing mass immigration and free flow of travel between countries they are diluting national identity.   Germans are becoming European citizens and not Germans.   The people will never accept global governance until they no longer see themselves as a nation.

A side benefit is most western countries have a very low birth rate and their populations will begin to decline by 2030.   Add in immigrants and you theoretically improve your tax base.

Same reason

You cannot divorce German history from their present day treatment of immigrants/refugees.  And "globalism" is more of a bogie man than an explanation.  I dislike the term "dog whistle" but the word "globalism" is most definitely a dog whistle word.

It may be a dog whistle but its the reality.

People like Merkel (Soros et al) have a stated goal of creating a global socialist dictatorship.   If you look at all these seemingly senseless policies through that lens they will make more sense.

Same thing Obama was pushing.   Decrease peoples national identity so that Brussels can exert more control over our individual lives.

It is indeed. I just wonder what these Euro leaders are thinking. Do they really fall for the line that there's going to be something at the end of the tunnel for them after they destroy their own countries?

Yes, Europeans are aiming at a trans-national structure - that is part and parcel of what the EU is about - but it doesn't involve all of the tinfoil conspiracy crap that comes along with the word "globalism ".  One might as well be speaking of some latter-day alternative to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

I'd imagine they do.   There will be two classes.   The lower class that is dependent on the government for everything and the elite who have everything they could desire.

You're hung up on the emotions around the word globalism.   Thats by design, to marginalize anyone who would resist what they are doing.

The EU addresses Europe, which is why there has been so much pressure against the UK for Brexit.  They cannot allow any dissent.

Its also behind the free trade laws here in North America.   Its why they wont enforce the border.   Massive immigration has turned much of the South West United States into Mexico.  Things like building the super highway they want, allowing Mexican trucks, and encouraging illegal immigration are all designed to dilute our national identity.

The end state is removal of our Constitutionally protected rights and subordination to Brussels.

Why should it be considered 'tinfoil' to suspect world leaders of attempting what people in charge have been inclined to want do throughout recorded human history?

The only reason we're using the term 'global' now is the technology is available for them to actually pull it off.

Its not even suspicion, they have said it.

Bernie Ecclestone, owner of F1 racing, a billionaire who attends Bilderburg with Bill Gates and company has made public statements.

"I hate democracy as a political system – it stops you getting things done. I think people should have decisions made for them. Torture is just an old-fashioned way of getting things done. "

"“A good dictator is better for a country than a democracy. Democracy in Britain leads to confusion and bad compromises."

He's also made comments to the effect that Hitler was misunderstood and was really quite effective.

Statists/oligarchs are naturally inclined to socialism, for obvious reasons. The only issue is the scale of their plans.

That's the problem with a great deal of the super wealthy entrepreneurs. They have a single minded focus upon which they built an empire. Sometimes by genius, sometimes tenacity, and sometimes by hook and crook, or just dumb luck, like Zuckerberg.

Too often they think their success makes them Renaissance men who can fix all problems. What most fail to do is understand that their situation was micro-economic, while governing nations is macro-economic. If they do happen to get in power, it's all gimmicks and tricks, because they think they can pull a single-focus level to success, rather than building a foundation and easing obstacles.

Then you got guys like Ecclestone who would be like a giant bulldozer to the economy and just wreck it to rebuild it.
The Republic is lost.

So Germans feel so guilty about the Holocaust, that to make up for it, they are importing millions of Muslims who hate the Jews even more than the Nazis.

If there is any justice in this world.... there WILL be something at the end of the tunnel for them.

A rope.  Well.... technically.... a noose.

It kinda sounds more like a case of 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' to me.
