Trump not 'aware' of other meetings between his campaign staff and Russians
By Rebecca Savransky - 07/16/17 10:29 AM EDT

President Trump is not aware of any other meetings that took place between his campaign staff and the Russians, according to a member of his legal team on Sunday.

During an interview on CBS's "Face The Nation," Jay Sekulow was asked whether he could say the president "knows of no other meetings with his campaign staff and Russians."

"Obviously the president has been very clear on that," Sekulow said.

I still don't believe this amounts to collusion, since at this point there's no evidence information was exchanged, anything was offered for it, and that plans were devised from the meeting.  There is one thing I don't buy, however......

"[The President] said he has had no meetings, was aware of no meetings with Russians, was not aware of this one until really right before it all broke," [Sekulow] said.

The last part is implausible, IMO.  To think his son didn't run to him with this right away doesn't seem credible, given how this family operates.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Trump knew about this back in June already. His legal team knew about 3 weeks ago.

Every person of authority (CEO, President, officer, NCO, whatever) is responsible for the actions of their subordinates.

That's how things work.  And we tend to take those who try to weasel out of that as poor leaders and despicable people.

Just sayin'.
