President Trump's pick to lead the FBI said Wednesday that he would not characterize the federal probe into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia as a "witch hunt," as the president has done.
"I do not consider Director [Robert] Mueller to be on a witch hunt," Christopher Wray said in response to questioning from Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), referring to the special counsel probing Russia's election meddling.
