Well, if parents abdicate their responsibility to teach their children about sex, sources like Teen Vogue are where they are going to learn about it.
When I was a kid, my mother was too embarrassed to teach me anything. Schools back then didn't teach it. I remember the girls' phys ed teacher tried to, but parents complained. One girl's parents were among the complainers. This girl ended up pregnant. She thought if you "do it" standing up, you can't get pregnant. Of course, nowadays I wouldn't want my kids to learn about sex in school as schools teach sex before marriage is OK and that kids should embrace every perversity.
If kids are not properly instructed, they will learn about sex elsewhere -- friends, magazines, the movies -- and they will learn a lot of BS.
