Trump inauguration rioter sentenced to four months

One of the more than 200 people facing charges for violent protests in Washington, D.C., on President Trump's Inauguration Day was sentenced by a Superior Court judge Friday to four months in prison.
Dane Powell pleaded guilty to one count of felony rioting charges and one count of assaulting a police officer. He was sentenced by District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Lynn Leibovitz on Friday to four months in prison.
Powell was the first defendant to plead guilty to felony charges. The sentence was more than his lawyers asked for but less than the six months sought by prosecutors, according to a report by BuzzFeed News.
