Scalise remains in serious condition after additional surgery

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) remains in serious condition after another surgery on Thursday.

The Louisiana Republican was readmitted to the intensive care unit at MedStar Washington Hospital late Wednesday.

"Congressman Steve Scalise underwent surgery for the management of infection," the hospital said in a statement provided by his office. "He tolerated the procedure well. He remains in serious condition. We will provide updates as appropriate."

Sorry to hear that he is worse and had to have another surgery to manage an infection. Doesn't sound good.

If Scalise were Gabby Giffords, the news media would be keeping a nightly vigil.

But instead, he's a conservative Republican shot by a Leftist loon, and there's no way for them to fit those facts into their political narrative.

So they put him on "Ignore".

Sounds like Maybe to drain an abscess or debride dead tissue.  If so he should improve after surgery
