    'My job is to remind everyone they need to stay focused doing their job', he said

CNN President has hit back at Donald Trump and his near-constant attacks on the network, saying he is comfortable going to battle with the commander-in-chief every day.

Jeff Zucker, CNN's 53-year-old head honcho, spoke about what it is like for his network to find itself so frequently in the president's crosshairs.

'I'm comfortable going to work in Thunderdome every day,' Zucker told the New York Times, referencing the steel cage where people fight for their lives in the Australian film franchise, Mad Max.

'My job is to remind everyone that they need to stay focused doing their job.

And now, in this time of transition for CNN, this is the worst possible time for all of this to be happening. Zucker should be keeping his head down and keeping everything calm and steady on course. He is doing the opposite of that.
