Democratic candidate Randy Bryce is running for Speaker of the House Paul Ryan's seat, and he could not be more opposite of him. Bryce, who is an ironworker and Army veteran, thinks Obamacare doesn't go far enough, he wants total single-payer healthcare.
When Bryce was confronted about his position during an interview with CNN, he wouldn't rule out the possibility of a $32 trillion tax hike in order to pay for the single-payer.
The reason is because, according to him, some people aren't paying their “fair share in taxes”:
John Berman: Bernie Sanders, you look at his plan for universal coverage that he ran on during the primary, you know, it could cost 32 trillion dollars over ten years. Even if it's half that, that's a ton of money. How do you propose paying for it?
Randy Bryce: Well, there's a lot of people that are getting away with not paying their fair share in taxes right now, and they benefit the most from society.
Berman: You want to raise 32 trillion dollars in taxes?
Bryce: Well, I'm not saying that we have to look at ways to just increase complete cost. There's a lot of things that we can look at as far as making things cost-effective. But again, there's are a lot of people that are not paying their fair share of taxes...

Truly, I can't knock the guy. He's straight up honest. Better be told you're getting bent over the table up front than get the sneaky surprise when they get into office. At least you can prepare a little.
