'Trump prophet': God changing America from top down
6 years ago foresaw election, now predicts Supreme Court upheaval
Published: 9 hours ago

Retired firefighter Mark Taylor predicted what almost no political expert in the entire world saw as even a remote possibility when he declared God had appointed Donald J. Trump as the next president of the United States.

Now, in his new book, Taylor says President Trump, with God’s help, is going to massively remake the federal government, starting with the Supreme Court.

“God is beginning to make changes from the top down,” Taylor writes in “The Trump Prophecies.” And he argues it is the power of prayer that is driving so many of these changes.

But its not a cult.  :silly:

God had no more to do with putting degenerate garbage like Trump in office than he had to do with putting Clinton or Obama in office. That one is all on mortals.

Lol, seriously?

I think it's pretty simple---we have the leader we deserve.

If he's going to massively change America, he better put down his phone and get started.

President Trump, First Baptist Dallas spread faith, patriotism and politics at concert

WASHINGTON — Over a thousand people from across the nation — most decked out in red, white and blue, some sporting "Make America Great Again" hats, a few in uniform — flooded the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday night for the Celebrate Freedom Concert hosted by First Baptist Dallas.

Hundreds of veterans, including wounded warriors from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, were in the audience for the event; thousands to millions more were watching on television or listening on radio, according to a church official.

The First Baptist Dallas Choir and Orchestra performed patriotic and Christian music throughout the evening, in addition to remarks by President Donald Trump, First Baptist Pastor Robert Jeffress, and U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Tyler.

Although the event was nonpartisan in name, Trump, Jeffress, and Gohmert all shared a partisan message, focusing their remarks on the intersection of politics and religion.

Jeffress introduced the president as a personal friend who "has exceeded our expectations, in reviving the economy, rebuilding our military, respecting our veterans, and restoring the greatest freedom of all — the free exercise of our faith."

"Millions of Americans believe that [Trump's victory] represented God giving us our next chance, perhaps our last chance, to make America great again," Jeffress said.

Had Canada sought independence, Simcoe would have been their George Washington.

He won't be.  He visited some hard payback on somebody who asked for it in the first season.  Besides, most of what he does is also done by half the protagonists in the show.

The showrunners are hinting at a "redemption " arc for him, but they have to cram so much into ten lousy episodes.  Up till now he's escaped everybody who's been after him, but I have a bad feeling someone is going to catch up to him.

This false prophet makes a bogus statement about God changing us from the 'top on down' when our history specifically and very clearly teaches that we were a nation forged from the bottom on up, and changes (positive or negative) are forged from the bottom on up.

People who tell you that Trump or any President is going to change us from the top on down, are people who are ignorant of our history and/or will applaud installing a king or a dictator and the kind of transformation the completes our devolution from Republic into monarchy and caste.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

When I  envision you, I come to England's puritan Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell.

Off came the head of Charles I, but after just a few years of goode Oliver, they opted for Charles II.

All things considered going forward at that time, Britain did very well, thank you.

Have you ever been into Hell on Wheels?   http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1699748/

There is a character called The Swede who mirrors Simcoe.   Great series btw.  Favorite episode Thirteen Steps.

Maybe I see too much of The Swede in Simcoe.   But then again, I'm naturally inclined to root for the Home team when watching historical colonial drama/action...not for the Queen's Rangers, aka Black Ops.

Then go to Britain and enjoy a monarchy.

I want no part of one here on these shores, even though you might want a semblance of one.

Notwithstanding you didn't refute or argue any point I made about bottom on up outside of attempting a vain insult of sorts.

He's not a Christian and he knows it. He consciously chooses to be a charlatan with zero concern for his final judgement. That alone tells me he has no belief in God.

Same with Trump himself. He claims that he's never had to ask God for forgiveness because he's never done anything wrong. Like all Fabian socialists he elevates himself in stature to rival God.

That's true.  Also I've noticed he treats women better than some of the protagonists on the show.

His 'test' failed AFAIC.  Asserting God is changing this nation from the top down for good by using an unrepentant self-absorbed narcissist is not only unbiblical - it's totally anathema to our history.

I'm more inclined to think God is simply doing what He has always done - letting a wayward people who have abandoned Him do what is right in their own eyes, choose their own way and eat the fruits thereof which bring misery, death and destruction.
