I hope these two end up with some serious jail time.
A more fitting punishment would be to tie them both to chairs, arm the restaurant owner and daughter with baseball bats, and let them have at it.

Oh yeah, they will. They will wind up with an assault and battery charge at the minimum. Assault on a child etc. The charges, misdemeanor or felony, will likely depend on the seriousness of the injuries. But there is much more to it than.
Once a person gets an assault charge of any kind, they will find it very difficult to get an apartment, at least not an apartment you or I would want to live in. Also, it disqualifies them from very many jobs, if they can find a job at all with that on their record.
It is obvious that these two are animals and do not understand the seriousness of what they did. They will likely do some jail time at least followed by probation. They will they likely lose their job, and find it very hard to find a new one. They may lose their home or apt. And can't find a new one. This charge will affect much of their life for a very long time. Violence on a Child charge, combined with assault. It is over for these two.
They are soooooo screeeeeeeeewd, and they don't even know it. Their life will never be the same again, and they deserve every bit of it. They are dangerous animals. They need to be off the street before they kill somebody the next time.
