A University of Florida professor claims that the American notion of patriotism is “drenched in whiteness” and implies that black people are “un-American.”
Drawing on interviews with 22 black Americans, Dr. Micah Johnson asserts that American institutions continue to reflect advantages for white males that have existed since the country's founding.
