Kurt Russell reported UFO sighting decades ago

Kurt Russell has revealed he was the pilot who reported the “Phoenix Lights” UFO sighting two decades ago.

In a recent interview with the BBC, the 66-year-old “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” star said he’d been flying his longtime partner Goldie Hawn‘s son Oliver Hudson to see his girlfriend when they both witnessed lights in a triangular formation seemingly passing over Phoenix on March 13, 1997. The lights were also witnessed by thousands of people between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. that night.

“I saw six lights over the airport in an absolute uniform, in a ‘v’ shape, and … I was just looking at them,” Russell said.

Prompted by Hudson, he reported the lights to ground control, which said nothing was showing on radar.

“Well, okay, I’m going to declare it’s unidentified, it’s flying, and it’s six objects,” the actor responded.

Been helping a friend recover from lower back surgery . . . dealing with a wrist I bonked really hard on my bed frame . . . dealing with a ton of stuff trying to clear away a lot of the carp on my acre and in my single wide . . . trying to overcome some spiritually troublesome junk . . . trying to gear up for a trip to Texas relatives . . . maintain some quality friendships locally and around the world . . . trying to keep some tabs on the ALT REAL stuff . . . have begun talks with a group of lifeguards from the aquatic center where I do my laps 5 days/week . . . etc.

On the whole . . . am maintaining tolerably and growing better here & there, PTL. God is merciful.

Been mostly helping friend for 2 wks who had lower back spinal surgery getting titanium rods implanted. Wheee.

Worst of that was he was still plenty plucky to continue his major mode of being a fiercely independent character/engineer. LOL.

Wrist is still a pain in some motions but also still healing slowly.
