He's done more for the pro-life cause than anyone, meaning the Presidency, this is really off-topic. I did not turn my back on the unborn. All one can say.

Regardless of your one-note sonata of Trump defense, I do not find wisdom in the thinking that to defeat a NY Liberal Democrat, one must support a lifelong NYC Liberal Democrat running with an 'R' after their name. 

If Satan cannot be used to cast out Satan according to scripture, I see no wisdom in the thinking that one stops liberalism by voting for liberals.

And neither do I even remotely think Trump is Conservative or as pro-life as some demand we regard him as.

I dont blame a doddering old socialist for this.  The leaders of the leftist movement are to blame. Their rhetoric has been getting more and more violent and they have been threatening violence since the election.  Well they got what they were hoping for.  I wonder how they will feel about the backlash.  Hopefully this will marginalize the democrats even further.

I'm still a Rush fan/listener.   Now.... if he EVER starts defending and/or supporting a gdamned Democrat or a leftist, that would change.

I've been listening to Rush for as long as I can remember... and I don't recall ANY liberal stances ... or stances of his that I disagreed with.  I suppose there could be something out there though.  Dunno.

But he was always clear that any of the republicanS would be vastly superior to any democRAT.

I havent seen any evidence of him supporting or egging on the antifa movement. If I am wrong then mae culpa. I think we need to be careful about painting politicians with what some of their supporters do, unless the politicians are specifically egging it on.

The last day I was listening to Rush as a fan was on 9-11-2015. That was the day Rush said Trump was a conservative because he benefited from freedom, was a reality TV star, and was a billionaire. Of course, Rush was gushing over Trump saying stupid things and getting away with it. Just to drive the media nuts. Things I've heard Trump fans parrot over the past few years.

I don't remember it that way, INVAR.  Only after Trump won the primary did Rush come out in vocal support of Trump.  At least, that's the way I recall it.

You could tell from what Rush was saying that he was in the tank for Trump pretty much from the beginning.

True, but if you were to take a poll of what is considered the leftist movement, I'd bet 90+% of them were Sanders supporters.

Still think the biggest guilty party are the MSM masses who have institutionalized an acceptance of a culture to foster violence toward anything Right of Center.  The feigned outrage of some of the recent media events just fans the flames.  It has become a bandwagon mentality and I wouldn't be surprised to see more of this.

Not to put you on the spot.... but do you have a bit of the transcript or a link that would back up your claim?  I remember that Rush was careful NOT to come out in support of any one candidate during the primaries.  Now.... that doesn't mean that Rush may not have defended one of the candidates (even Trump) against charges or lies by the rabid left during that time.

Rush lauded all the 17 candidates as 'better than Hillary', it was self-evident early-on that Trump was the guy he was supporting - even after he said that Rubio was a 'full throated Conservative' and said Cruz was the closest to Reagan.  I began to see it was just placating his audience and supporting the party rather than any principles.  His daily amusements and defenses of Trump made it very obvious whom it was he was supporting.

I know what I heard, because within a minute of his remarks on the day I got pissed, I logged into my account to cancel my 24/7 membership.  Several weeks later right before the convention when some lady called up and said if Trump was the nominee there was no way she was voting for Trump and Rush said that she was then voting for Hillary, I immediately turned off his radio show for good.  I haven't listened since.   I'm not going to spend the time to dig through his show transcripts to justify my actions, you are welcome to do so if you like. 

He has absolutely no credibility with me any more.  None.
