Of course the shakespear in the park didn't cause this event.   According to the shooters wife he had moved to the area two months ago.   He's probably been thinking/planning something like this for much longer.

When people or groups go public with pretend violence against high profile people its not really art.  Its an expression from their heart.   Each showing of a decapitated head or mock assassination makes actual violence more acceptable for folks on the edge like this guy.

Remember when Gabby Gifords was shot.  The left was blaming Sarah Palins use of a crosshairs graphic in her political ads.     Now they want to pretend that something much more graphic and specific had no impact?

Then perhaps you need to read TBR a little closer to start with.  There are people here that are all for the next Civil War...watering the tree of Liberty...declaring war on media figures and politicians they don't like...or seeking violent retribution against fellow TBR members who didn't vote for or are critical of the person they voted for to be the next President.
