Yesterday, Democrats packed Beltway bars with giddy anticipation that former FBI Director James Comey would deliver damning testimony that would lead to the impeachment of President Trump and definitive proof that the POTUS was a Kremlin deep sleeper agent.
There were “impeachmint cocktails and vodka shots” to go around but the festive mood soon turned sour as Comey’s testimony lacked the magic bullet that would finally slay Trump.
