French Magazine Charlie Hebdo Crosses the Line With Gruesome Theresa May Cover

Not cool.

The June 7 issue of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo arrives on the heels of the Manchester and London Bridge terrorist attacks. Indeed, the bubble remark–‘Too much is too much’–comes from remarks made by U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May in the wake of the latter June 3 incidents.

The cover is tasteless. English-language media reaction is just starting to trickle in, but stay car-tooned. There will be lots of it. The cover line, translated, reads as ‘Multiculturalism is the British Way.’

This is actually pretty normal and almost tame for Charlie Hebdo and as I recall, we have the history of defending their 'line crossing' if it crosses someone we don't like.

Their constant mockery of Islam and Muhammad which actually resulted in retaliatory terrorism was called 'crossing the line' by many. They also 'crossed the line' according to some with several attacks on Obama including a cover of him being shot at.

French humor is not really compatable with American humor. They do treat Jerry Lewis as a god.
