Al Franken won’t cancel event he’s hosting with Kathy Griffin: ‘I believe in forgiveness’ – and selling books

While Al Franken agrees that comedian Kathy Griffin went “too far” in her latest political stunt, he has no plans yet to cancel a scheduled appearance with his friend later this summer.

The Minnesota senator believes the comedian can recover from her “horrible mistake” and praised her for offering an immediate apology after the backlash erupted.

‘I believe in forgiveness’

Really you nasty piece of shit.....

"Here's the thing you have to understand about Ted Cruz," Franken wrote in the book, an excerpt of which was published by Axios. "I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz."
