By design or coincidence, his remarks Sunday mirror those made in a similar setting five years ago by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who told Arab League leaders in Cairo that "Russia will always back its allies."

There's a huge difference between using one on occasion, and being totally dependent on them even when speaking to a group of children. So we'll continue to mock Obama for his total dependence, and not mock Trump because he clearly is not totally dependent.

If you can't see the large difference here, I'd have to assume you struggled in school....or...you simply are looking for anything, no matter how absurd, with which to criticize the President and his supporters.

That was one helluva speech.  Amazing when one considers it was given in Saudi Arabia in front of the ME leaders.  I'll say one thing for Trump, the man has guts.  Refreshing after eight years of cowardice.

The man can't stop himself from saying some stupid things...but damn, he fights! And he fights for what is right. This speech was picture perfect, as is his approach to international affairs in my view. What's notable is the deep and open support he's getting from these Muslim leaders/nations...if you listen to the MSM, they all hate him because he's anti-muslim. But these leaders see through that lie and understand what it means to have an American leader who has their back in the geo-strategic sense.

Very good speech, delivered well.  I give Trump credit for this. He was presidential.

No. I definitely think he should have. I never would fault a leader for their employment.  But Obama was mocked from Day One, even before the classroom.
