It was just months ago, in the late stages of the campaign that he was disparaging all the Intel services so nothing seems beyond the realm but I agree with @Frank Cannon this is probably fake and if I've noticed anything lately it's that the trumpsters have been particularly oversensitive lately and without them this place just wouldn't be the same, so let's give them some room to catch their breath.

Well I am certainly no trumpster (anything but).... but even I am FTFU with this constant media assault of fabricated, phony baloney 'breaking and fake' news.  It's obvious what the left is trying to do.... yet so many fall for it over and over and over again.  Some because they want to believe the BS.  Not quite four months in and it has gotten really tedious.

If Hillary had done it, we would never know as the press would completely ignore the event.

Exactly.

Pretty much.

I wonder how long it will take them to start saying that Trump didn't really make that admission on his Twitter account this morning...that it was hacked.   :silly:

Actually I only saw it because someone I follow was laughing at a claim made by a Trumper that it was someone on Trump's staff who tweeted it.

DT tweeted that he had the right to share the data with the Russians.

What Trump may or may not have said in that meeting doesn't bother me so much as how this crapola keeps getting leaked to the press.   The President's inner circle is disloyal.   Maybe Trump should fire every last one who in the room with him.

This is my focus as well.   How did this story get out?   I would think the list of possible leakers would  have to be pretty short.

Alternatively,  the thought occurs to me that the evil  bastard Barack Odumbo  might have left bugs in the Whitehouse with the means of receiving them in the hands of his allies.

If there is no bug,  then it's some sort of human leak.

Whoever it is needs to have a legal hammer dropped on them.

And finding all those bugs (highly sophisticated ones, no doubt) can't be easy (or possible?) if/when you're at odds with the FBI and former director.  Just one more kink that needs to be worked (pounded) out by Trump.  It hasn't even been four months yet.

If they are stuff to which the intelligence community has access,   I expect it could be very difficult to find them.   Given that the Ivy League left-wing Intelligence community is a major opponent of Trump,   I find this scenario to be quite plausible.

The "intelligence"  community has both the means and the motive to accomplish this.

Here is one of the more clever systems ever employed for bugging someone.   (Invented by the guy who created the "Theremin.")   It has no semiconductors,  no power system,  and cannot be detected by the usual means of locating bugs.

Just because its so much fun watching Lucy and Ethel try to handle and endless stream of candy that is coming faster and faster.

Trump ADMITS sharing intelligence with Russian officials 'which I have the absolute right to do', contradicting White House officials who said claims he slipped classified ISIS secrets were FALSE

To be honest, I wouldn't share information to a country like Russia... The same company that is helping Iran and Assad..

Instead of 'tweeting' isn't this something that his press secretary should be handling??  Not necessarily letting the press in to ask questions; but to make a statement on behalf of the President.

According to FOX News Trump has stated that he has every right to talk with Russians and share 'facts' regarding terrorism and had the absolute right to do so.

....National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, Deputy National Security Adviser Dina Powell and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson all strongly pushed back Monday evening following The Washington Post report that Trump disclosed to Russian officials the foreign city where an ISIS plot was hatched – a development that could potentially lead the Russians to discover U.S. intelligence sources and methods. But Tuesday morning, Trump tweeted his first response to the firestorm.

“As President I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled W.H. meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety. Humanitarian reasons, plus I want Russia to greatly step up their fight against ISIS & terrorism,” Trump wrote in a pair of tweets......

As far as not trusting anonymous sources, what's the alternative?  Trust government sources?  We already see what that's worth.  They deny and then Trump effectively makes liars of them the next day.

Doesn't seem any laws were broken because the president can declassify information as he sees fit.
The issue is who he put in jeopardy and the fact that he may have compromised another country's intelligence, which he doesn't have the right to do.

Is it someone inside Trump's inner circle or the Russians themselves?

Especially since he gave the information to Russia who can't be trusted..

Exactly.   They would literally have to 'throw out' every item in the WH to get rid of all the bugs.  And you know Barry & Co. have them planted everywhere possible.  Obama (and Soros) had eight years to compromise agents to their agenda.

But Trump could use this to his advantage, if he was smart enough.

Stop moving the goal posts.   The Washington Compost story was that he revealed methods and therefore compromised intelligence assets.

That part is not true,   and that is the only objectionable part of this entire #Fakenews story.

It's as much of a defense by those that refuse to hear anything bad about Donald as those on the left that used to and continue to bash Fox News for not being a "real" news outlet.

No.  Not good times.  Not then and certainly not now.  Just "say no" to helping the leftist agenda along.

Are these "anonymous sources"  not in fact "government sources"?

If they don't work for the government,  I fail to see how they could come by any relevant information.

I completely agree with the fact that Trump shouldn't trust Putin/Russia. Obviously he seems to see them as an ally in fighting terrorism.
