A secretive unmanned U.S. Air Force “space plane” landed Sunday in Florida after a record-breaking time in orbit, waking up thousands of Floridians in the process.
The X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle, which resembles a mini space shuttle, landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center around 8 a.m. Eastern, startling many on the ground as it sent a sonic boom across central Florida.
