Obama to receive Kennedy Foundation 'Profile in Courage' award

May 7, 2017 | 10:12am EDT

Former U.S. President Barack Obama is expected in Boston on Sunday to receive the John F. Kennedy Foundation's annual "Profile in Courage Award," honoring his accomplishments during his two terms in office in the face of intense political opposition.

"President Kennedy called on a new generation of Americans to give their talents to the service of the country," said Caroline Kennedy, John F. Kennedy's daughter, who will present the award at a ceremony beginning at 8:30 p.m. EDT (0030 GMT).

"With exceptional dignity and courage, President Obama has carried that torch into our own time, providing young people of all backgrounds with an example they can emulate," Kennedy said in a statement. She served as U.S. ambassador to Japan during the Obama administration.

If you go through the list of recipients, it is comprised of literal losers. Bob Inglis, HW Bush, McLame, Gerald Ford. Obammy will fit right in.

What courage?

Kennedy must be spinning in his grave.

If JFK were running for office today, let's see what the Democrats would say about Mr. Kennedy.  Nancy Pelosi would compare him to a Nazi.  Harry Reid would call him a terrorist.  Barack Obama would call him a bitter clinger and advise his buddies over at the IRS to take a really hard look at his finances.

That award means nothing not if it includes Obama as a winner. He had no courage and he is still a menace to society. Liberals have no common sense or logic and people who are stupid enough to vote for these kind of people are just as bad.

Obama receives Profile in Courage Award from Kennedys

By Associated Press

May 8, 2017 | 6:24am

BOSTON — Former President Barack Obama returned to the spotlight Sunday to accept an award for political courage from the John F. Kennedy family, days after House Republicans won passage of a bill dismantling much of his signature health care law.

The Democrat has made few public appearances since leaving office in January, and has avoided mention of his Republican successor in the White House, even as President Donald Trump has criticized the previous administration numerous times while moving to undo many of Obama’s initiatives.

Hubris doesn't begin to describe these people.

After "laboring" for eight years under lowered expectations and ludicrously favorable press, being praised to the rafters for so much as breaking wind, and all the money he's currently making for doing NOTHING he also needs an award for "courage".

Receiving an award for courage, political or otherwise, from the Kennedy Family is tantamount receiving a Sobriety Certificate from, well...the Kennedy Family.

It took a lot of "courage" to ignore the calls for help from Benghazi...

Obammy believes it's courage NOT to repeal and/or replace Obamacare. It's not surprising that a pansy like he would receive an award for courage, under the circumstances. The most courageous thing he ever did in his entire life was eschew the condom one night in Boystown, Chicago ... but I digress.

The names of past award winners is full of losers and a-holes.   Obama will be at the head of the list.

... and lie to the American people about spending less money to keep the health plan and doctor they like.

I've got his award right here, and he's earned this one:

They really ought to have nominated Bill Ayers, who after all is responsible for ghost-writing Obama's autobiography.... the same way that JFK's Profiles in Courage was ghostwritten by Arthur Schlesinger.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn
