ObamaCare 'wins the day' in health care debate, Krauthammer says

Syndicated Columnist Charles Krauthammer said Thursday on "Special Report with Bret Baier" that while the House was successful in getting the Republican-backed health care bill passed, ObamaCare "wins the day" in the overall debate.

While Republicans were successful in passing legislation, Krauthammer,  a Fox News Contributor, said ObamaCare wins because it has changed the conversation regarding health care.

Republicans have "accepted the fact the electorate sees health care as not just any commodity," he said. "It's something that people now have a sense that the government ought to guarantee."

He goes on to say that this is the path to single payer.

He's right. We lost the debate because we didn't even have it. Instead, so-called conservatives bought fully into the notion that health care is a right, that the government must provide funding for it, and that the ACA will live on, although amended.

Folks. We lost. Collins and Cornyn are helping draft the Senate bill. Any questions?

I have a question.   What kind of champagne will we be drinking?   I prefer extra dry, myself.

It's hard for me to be anything but cynical right now watching this train wreck... and watching Team Trump try and tell us how great this is just makes me want to wrestle @Frank Cannon for the key to his liquor cabinet.
