El Nino and the end of the global warming hiatus
April 27, 2017 by Jim Shelton

A new climate model developed by Yale scientists puts the "global warming hiatus" into a broader historical context and offers a new method for predicting global mean temperature.

Research by professor Alexey Fedorov and graduate student Shineng Hu indicates that weak El Niño activity from 1998 until 2013, rather than a pause in long-term global warming, was the root cause for slower rates of increased surface temperature. The research, published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, also finds that volcanic activity played only a minor role.

Riiiiiggghhhttttt!

Another computer model that tries to buttress the man-made global warming theories. No explanation of the V&V done on the model with statistical correlation of model predicted temperatures before, during, and after the El Niño events. If their model can re-create the unaltered global temperature data using only the boundary inputs - solar energy input, cloud cover, snow/ice cover, and planetary core heat output to the surface, then I'll believe it.

Funny, the papers were screaming about the 'warmest March ever' a month or so back that was the surest and clearest sign of runaway global warming. I seen environuts yesterday on Facebook that were touting the blizzard in Oklahoma as caused by global warming.

But 15 years of cooling data? Excuses and reasons and apathy.
The Republic is lost.
