Steve Bannon is revealing just how little he cares for Megyn Kelly by going on the record in a new interview to detail how he warned Roger Ailes about his then star anchor.

The White House Chief Strategist is the focus of a Politico story which examines how President Trump managed to fracture the conservative media during his campaign, and ultimately ended up pitting Bannon, then the executive editor of Breitbart, against Ailes, then the CEO of Fox News. 

'The big rift between Breitbart and Fox was all over Megyn Kelly. She was all over Trump nonstop,' explains Bannon.

He goes on to say that he decided at one point to try and talk things out with Ailes, and warned him about Kelly by stating:  'She’s the devil, and she will turn on you.'

Except that a lot of people on the right turned on her when she started asking him tough questions.  I know I'm 180^o out of sync with popular opinion, but I thought her questions were hard, but so what?  Shouldn't presidential candidates be asked hard questions?

I didn't watch Kelly because I didn't like her presentation, but I thought she was unfairly treated over the Trump-debate questions.

It is amazing how, in the course of a few months, Megyn went from being a hero to a villain, all because she she asked a tough question to Trump and didn't fall on her knees like Hannity.

I agree with you on this.  I used to like her, but don't much care for her now, and it has absolutely nothing to do with her and Trump.  She asked tough questions (which is what I always liked about her) and a Presidential candidate should answer tough questions.  It's a tough job they're interviewing for.

No, what bothers me about her is she's veered to the left, and stopped being tough with leftists.  She'll be dandy in the stable of CNN flunkies.  She was great and is now mediocre, and it's a damned shame.  I've mentioned in this space recently I can't stand Hannity because he has no grasp of follow-up questions, and she was the direct opposite:  She could really nail people to the wall with her follow ups.

I don't think it's fair to compare the two.  Melania Whateverhernamewas was a professional model at the time, and Megyn Kelly was supposed to be a journalist when the shots were taken.
