Obama fingerprints at DNC?
By Amie Parnes and Jonathan Easley - 04/11/17 04:00 PM EDT

Former President Obama’s White House political director is informally providing strategic advice to leaders at the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

David Simas, who is now CEO of the Obama Foundation, is close with DNC Chairman Tom Perez and has been in regular contact with Sam Cornale, a top adviser to Perez.

A source who has been involved in the transition said Simas has provided strategic advice on hiring decisions.

Barack Obama won two presidential elections - he knows how to win for Democrats.  Certainly his people, the present Democrat Chairman being one of his people, would use any information David Simas, another Obama man, would give him.  Obama was the head of their winning party - it would be ridiculous to think he was washing his hands of his party.  Obama was/is as progressive as any Democrat would want.  I don't know why this Simas meeting would even be news.
