I’m not a fan of the cape style, either, but what really bugs me is the tentlike shape paired with the short length.  It just looks awkward and weird to my eye.  Melania has great legs, so short is fine, but I think slimmer would be better.

I like FLOTUS's white suit but don't think she needs the hat...would have loved to see her hair swept up...

I like it too...I have one very similar but I have never worn it...got it for a wedding that I was unable to go to several years ago

If it was a bright sunny day I would agree with wearing the hat...but it isn't...besides you can barely see her eyes..just because it goes with her outfit doesn't mean she needs to wear it.
