A few words rom Chief Master Seargeant George Roof

Discussion in 'Political/Religious Topics' started by gsbuickman, Feb 1, 2017.

        Boise, Idaho

This is one of the best writeups I,ve seen in awhile & right on target with everything, y'all enjoy ...

By George Roof, Chief Master Sergeant (Retired), USA

Because I am a “lifer” in the military, I’ve seen the impact of a president more than many of you can ima...gine. I enlisted with LBJ and saw just what a Democrat cluster flock was all about. I went to Vietnam and saw how we were constantly and incessantly bombarded with micromanagement from Washington that got thousands of military people killed. I sometimes wonder if I’ll get to heaven, but if I go to hell, I’m sure I’ll still be a few hundred floors above that ******* Robert McNamara , LBJ, John Kerry, Jane Fonda, and yes, even the “hero” John McCain.

After Johnson “abdicated”, I lived through Nixon who was hawkish but allowed the generals (and there WERE a few real generals back then versus now) run the show. He was so out of touch that he never knew North Vietnam was about to surrender when the Paris Accord was presented.

All very nice, but there is no such critter as a "Chief Master Sergeant" in the US Army.

Sounds suspiciously like a sailor trying to pass himself off as a soldier.

Or he could be an Airman, trying to pass himself off as an Airman.

Retired Air Force Master Sgt. George Roof posted the “Presidents I’ve Known” column on his personal Facebook page on November 20, 2016, and it has since been widely shared and circulated.

George Roof, Chief Master Sergeant (Retired), USA

A name and rank followed by (Retired),USA means United States Army. If he was in the USAF,it should read "(Retired) USAF".

Elsewhere he's identified as AF. He's now a taxidermist in Delaware.

Okay, being not of the military, I read that US America.  Judging from the other posts, that was added by someone else.  It isn't in his original post on Facebook, where this was copied from.

All:

This guy is a fake. He is saying he is a retired Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. He is also using the picture of Jim Cody who really is a retired Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. Chief Cody entered the Air Force in 1984 which is well after the Vietnam era, and that is why if you look at the picture Mr. Roof is using, the person is wearing no Vietnam decorations.

On the other hand, Mr. Roof is a taxidermist, and unless he can produce a real DD-214, (I could not find one for him) he has never served our nation. There are so many great young men and women serving our nation that this fake's post insults. He also insults our veterans.

Respectfully,
Jim

I am insulted, and I was a lowly Captain. I detest those who give themselves undeserved military rank and honors.
