The Twitter page of an accused high-priced college prostitute includes a profile photo of her posing cozily with President Bill Clinton. Bill is wearing a Hillary campaign pin on his lapel as he smiles beside Acacia Friedman.

Friedman was arrested March 29 alongside Samara Charlotin, 19, and Maury Noun, 21, in a prostitution sting that took place in a hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, just outside of Miami. Since her arrest, Friedman has deleted her Twitter profile.

Isn't heavy.com one of those bogus sites, like the Enquirer?   How do we know the photo wasn't photoshopped? How do we know the girl in the pic is the ACCUSED prostitute?  Notice I emphasized the word ACCUSED.  She hasn't been convicted of anything.  And the photo doesn't show the two of them doing anything illicit  So where is the wrongdoing?

Besides, Clinton's affairs during his presidency and his lying about them weren't enough to get him thrown out of office.  Years later, who really cares if he is doing the deed with some chick?  Indeed, at his age, can he do the deed with anyone? 

Whatever he has done in his past, is doing in the present or will do in the future is between him and God.  Not really our concern at all.

The word "accused" isn't just a courtesy.  From a legal standpoint, so long as she hasn't been tried or convicted of anything, she is still the "accused" or a "suspect."    The media in particular use those terms to avoid libel/slander litigation, should the accused be aquitted.

Apparently, she is worth $5,000 to somebody.  High class call girls can command a very high fee -- particularly the very young.

Several years ago, a man high on cocaine stabbed his paraplegic girlfriend 234 times in a local hotel room. I was in the newsroom, heard some curious chatter over the scanner, and raced to the hotel with camera in hand. I was the only reporter - newspaper or broadcast media - on the scene. The police wouldn't let me near the hotel room, but let's face it: there was no question this guy did it. There was no one else around and he was covered in her blood (currently incarcerated on a life sentence). The cops entered the room and took a knife away from him. I got a picture of paramedics loading him onto an ambulance.

We at the newspaper still had to use words like "alleged" and "accused" and "according to police," just to protect ourselves.  ^-^
