@Weird Tolkienish Figure
In the world of intelligence its uncommon that actual evidence is released.  To do so frequently requires disclosure of methods and sources.  The FBI does not want to come out and say the NSA/CIA/FBI has been monitoring communications illegally.

To doubt that the Obama administration was monitoring its critics is naive at best and foolish.   There are many sources which have published this monitoring is occurring over the last 6 years.   From their treatment of the Tea Party to their support of the Occupy and Black Lives Matter groups the Obama admin is a case study on how to push a socialist agenda.

Comey is enjoying himself way too much.

If I were Trump..... I would fire Comey so fast his pointy little head would spin off.

Can't now. Firing the guy that's investigating you? Screams guilty at about 7 million decibels.

Seems theres a big fat opportunity to turn the investigation on the obvious lawbreaking committed by those who're seeking to reverse the election results with this thing - the only lawbreaking we know for certain has been committed.

If the GOP doesn't take the bull by the horns soon we can assume they are quietly complicit.

I know.  I haven't watched much but it almost feels like the dems are in the majority and Comey is way too smug and unconcerned.

Never been able to tell the difference between complicit and spineless as far as those useless tossers are concerned.

Given that the GOP always manages to find their spine whenever the establishment status quo is threatened I'm no longer willing to give them that benefit of a doubt.

Finally.  Someone articulates what so many of us understand about the GOP and why we left it.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

@Weird Tolkienish Figure Knock off the filthy talk.  You can make your point better than that, I've seen you do it.  And don't cry that you were pushed, either.  This is your one warning.

Not when the same guy admitted that Trump's opponent in the election was guilty as hell, yet he refused to 'go after' her and instead, let her off the hook....as he knew damned well that Obama's Department of Injustice would never prosecute.  Comey has already identified himself as a partisan whore.  The only thing yet to be determined is his price.

Yes, but I've always held that you should keep your friends close....

and your enemies closer (to see what they're up to and bitching about)...lol.

Since Comey has shown a lust for putting his thumb on the electoral scale, I'd like to see some of the evidence used for his multiple positions on Hillary Clinton's data server.

Who agrees with him? The unnamed sources. Infowars? I haven't seen any credible evidence and Comey seems to concur with that.

@Weird Tolkienish Figure

Comey?   The guy who said Hillary didn't break the law? After saying she did the things that get everyone else prosecuted.

He has zero credibility.  The only thing we don't know is who is pulling his strings.

He has at least as much credibility as Trump.

Trump needs to put up or shut up.  At this point he's looking like a fool.

The issue is Comey.   He has been compromised and needs to be replaced.

I'm inclined to agree with that.  We have about 3,000 threads dedicated to the "Trump Wars," this one should be about Comey.
