Bharara Yet To Resign, Despite Trump Ask
The Trump administration has ordered 46 United States attorneys to resign immediately—including New York's Preet Bharara. But Bharara hasn't done so yet.

Preet Bharara, the crusading U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York who was asked to submit his resignation letter Friday, along with the 45 other U.S. Attorneys held over from the Obama administration, has yet to do so, a federal law enforcement official tells The Daily Beast.

Bharara—whose office is in the end stages of an investigation of New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, about to begin the trials of two close allies of Governor Andrew Cuomo, and also appears to be investigating how Fox News structured settlements of sexual harassment and other claims brought by its employees—met with Donald Trump shortly after the election and was told that he would stay. Just this week, Attorney General Jeff Sessions assured him in a phone conversation that he’d remain atop the Southern District, according to the federal law enforcement official.

Just appoint someone to be co-whatever he is and give them a higher authority. Bharara gets the lemon stand and illegal soft drink cases. He will resign.

NPR AKA National Liberal Radio
Is playing this up like it is some kind of a big deal.  They finally reported that he was fired. He left his office in a Taco Truck.

This is one huge mistake, he is one of the attorneys who should be retained.

Heck, Based on his track record, I'd appoint Bharara as lead investigator into the Russian hacking and Trump wiretapping case.

Bharara has done a pretty good job in New York.

He's the guy who finally put Sheldon Silver in jail.

He's slowly "getting closer" to governor Cuomo himself.

Perhaps he ought to be kept on for a while...

Yep, on the other side of the ledger, he was also the one who prosecuted Dinesh D'Souza.
