As someone who is beginning his second year without a policy due to ACA I'm having a real hard time ginning up sympathy for those who 'may lose coverage'.
And not all of those ""millions"" supposedly losing coverage will be needing to use that coverage, I'm betting. I went for years and years paying health insurance premiums before actually having to go to a doctor. They're making it sound like a disaster when it's not. Set up a "disaster" fund for anyone that really
does need the healthcare during the period they are not covered. That would include serious injury resulting from an accident or unintentional event. For anything else (headache, diet pills, etc.) they can go to a damned clinic and pay up front like most folks that have gone without health insurance have done for decades.
