White House: Keystone Pipeline Exempt From 'Buy American' Order

President Donald Trump's order directing the Commerce Department to use American-made steel does not include the Keystone XL Pipeline, a White House spokeswoman confirmed Friday, according to Politico.
"We have cleared the way for the construction of the Keystone and Dakota Access pipelines, thereby creating tens of thousands of jobs," Trump said earlier this week in his speech before Congress. "And I've issued a new directive that new American pipelines be made with American steel."
