I'd like to see Trump get back to solving the country's problems like he said he was going to do in his address. Let the investigation proceed, and let him focus on what's important.
Trump is the same person he was during the primaries and the election. The guy knows how to manipulate people. It's a skill he's mastered. And he understands his supporters. If anyone thinks that he doesn't get a charge out of tweeting to make himself look like a victim so that people will rush to his defense, well...that would be a very naive POV, I'll just say that. I won't be pretending that he morphed into Winston Churchill the moment he took the oath of office.
I'm not saying there's nothing to the wiretapping thing. But all we can do is speculate at this point. I'd like to see the truth come out. Keep in mind, too, that thanks to the Patriot Act, Trump can and probably will be doing some wiretapping of his own.
I've said before that I will give Trump credit when it's due---as with the appointment of Gorsuch and his address last week---but I'll criticize him when deserved, as well. I'd do the same with any president, and if someone can't deal with it, it's their problem. I'm not going to play to the creeping notion that I have to be cheerleader for a politician or I'm helping the other side. Let's face it, nothing we post here is doing that.
