Trump to meet with GOP leaders for White House lunch

President Donald Trump will have lunch with congressional Republican leaders on Wednesday as the party seeks to hash out his ambitious agenda in Congress.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn, House Speaker Paul Ryan, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise all will attend the gathering at the White House, according to Republican officials, as will Sen. David Perdue of Georgia and National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Cory Gardner.
The agenda was not immediately clear, the officials said, but top of mind will be the GOP efforts to repeal Obamacare. Congressional Republicans have a series of meeting Wednesday intended to find a consensus on how to scrap the law and come up with an alternative.
