Trump to hold off on new travel ban in wake of positive speech reviews: report
By Max Greenwood - 03/01/17 08:57 AM EST

President Trump will not sign a revised travel ban executive order on Wednesday, CNN reported, despite expectations he would do so.

The decision to hold off comes amid a bout of positive coverage for the president, after a well-received address to Congress on Tuesday night.

Good idea.   The speech was well-received for good reason - it represented the serious, leader-ish side of Trump so many of us have wanted to see.   Since the botched travel ban never represented sound policy but was rather a sop to that portion of his base that dislikes Muslims,  delaying any revised ban seems like a politically astute move.
