Just in time for Trump, George W. Bush lifts embargo on criticizing successors
By J. Marsolo

George W. Bush broke his policy of not attacking a sitting president.  Bush did not criticize or attack Obama but has joined the Opposition Party (Democrats and mainstream media, aka Fake News Media)'s war against Trump.

Bush acted like a punching bag during his second term.  Obama blamed Bush for every problem, but Bush remained silent.  He did not forcefully, if at all, defend his Iraq policy, nor did he respond to the attacks on him by the mainstream media and Democrats like Harry Reid.  Reid called him a loser and said in 2007 the Iraq War was lost.

Well then, it's official.  I have finally lost ALL respect for George W. Bush.

Heckuva job, Bushy!  After years of defending your stupid @ss, consider me on the opposite side from you now.  And no, it's not about defending Trump.  It's about how you let the radical left get away with murder on your watch.... and NOW you speak up and speak out against a "sitting president"?  That's what a leftist would do.

No quarter given to the enemy within...ever.

The more time that goes by the more W looks like an incompetent moron. He was weak. His big govt' programs still haunt us today. He set things in motion for a never ending war in the Middle East. He panicked during the economic collapse. All around, there isn't a whole hell of a lot to look back at and be excited about.

The fifth and sixth paragraphs make a point about 'the press' that I've been trying to make.

When Bush allowed himself to be a punching bag he as well let the nation be a punching bag. Do such things occur to him?

I for one will be happy when he gets back to his painting, Vet-helping and STFU, because all this Bush Bashing of late is cringe-worthy.
It is as simple as it seems, some of you people would have preferred Pres. Gore on 911 or Pres. Kerry in the 2008 financial meltdown.
As a fellow Texan I'll stand with him and be proud.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

What you need to realize is that the Bushs', Clintons', Obamas' and most of the DC establishment are all on the same team. Bush did not criticize Obama because Obama was implementing a Globalist agenda that Bush agrees with. Trump on the other hand is pursuing an agenda that places America and it's citizens first, not the moneyed interest of the globalists. We can expect more of the same from one of the worst presidents ever.

First off, Bush and Turd Blossom ran such lousy campaigns that both those Rat idiots almost became President. Secondly Bush and Paulson acted like Leftist Rats when the meltdown happened. Bailout this and that. Pick winners and losers. Everything they did set up Obama for being a Socialist and excusing it by saying the last guy did it. Beyond that the economic crisis was encouraged by Bush running around saying everyone should own a home. That's the sort of shit that gave the banks the flexibility to create subprime garbage.

Things change with time and so do people change.  Bush changed for the worse.  You can't deny it.  It's a fact.  He was a great governor and as such, I voted for and supported him.  I also voted for him twice for president and may have been proud of him 'once upon a time'...

but nevermore.

He has outted himself as a sellout in my book of logic.  Siding with leftists, and especially with Obama, is NEVER an option.  Yet there he is.... siding with the rabid left.  Bush is dead to me.

Obama spent 8 years beating up on Bush policies but that wasn't a personal thing.

Yes, @skeeter I get it and some of it is warranted, but simmer it down to a roux and it remains simply, the elections of 2000 and 2004 offered no viable choice except GWB.

Obama spent 8 years beating up on Bush policies but that wasn't a personal thing.

You're a delusional fool. Obama hated Bush and it showed in all of his speeches.

http://www.theblaze.com/news/2012/05/31/president-obama-insults-former-president-bush-at-his-own-portrait-hanging/

President Obama on Thursday twisted the knife he’d stuck in his predecessor’s legacy, reminding former President George W. Bush that he left the economy a mess and al Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden alive when he left the White House three years ago.

“The months before I took the oath of office were a chaotic time,” Obama told a crowd of mostly former Bush administration officials and members of the Bush family, including Bush’s parents, former President George H.W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush.[…]

“We knew our economy was in trouble, our fellow Americans were in pain, but we wouldn’t know until later just how breathtaking the financial crisis had been,” Obama continued, raising some eyebrows among the Bush crowd seated just a few feet away.

Obama stopped short of blaming Bush for the recession, something he has done repeatedly on the campaign trail.

Instead, Obama couched his remarks with praise of the former president, thanking Bush for going out of his way “in the middle of that crisis … to make sure that the transition to a new administration was as seamless as possible.”

A courtesy that the classless ass Barry could never extend to another president..... as long as there was no magic "D" beside their name.  What a damned hypocrite the Hussein is.

You don't get more F U than calling a former President a loser at his portrait hanging in front of his entire family. Beyond that, this is only one of many examples where Obama trashed Bush with and angry look on his face.

We can say Obama/Bush are responsible in part for the deaths caused by illegal aliens in the US with their lax immigration policy, let alone the crime and mayhem in Northern Mexico caused to illegals.
