Democratic senators with White House ambitions are leading the charge to sink President Trump's Cabinet picks.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is at the top. The New York senator has voted against 12 of Trump's Cabinet picks and is the only Democrat to vote against Gen. James Mattis, the president's pick to lead the Pentagon.
Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Bernie Sanders (Vt.) are close behind, as all three have voted against 11 of Trump's Cabinet picks.

One might care to remind Democrats that neither reflexive opposition nor mindless leftism amount to policy positions.
But sadly, they no longer appear to care because they are out of ideas and increasingly, out of their minds.
And yes, it is sad because an effective and mindful opposition often seems to keep honest the party in power.
