    Mexico will vigorously fight U.S. mass deportations of undocumented immigrants back to Mexico and refuse to accept any non-Mexicans expelled across the border, Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray vowed Wednesday.
    A day after the Trump administration unveiled tough new guidelines for enforcing immigration laws, Videgaray said the treatment of Mexican migrants in the United States would top his country’s agenda when President Enrique Peña Nieto meets Thursday with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly.
    “I want to make clear, in the most emphatic way, that the government of Mexico and the Mexican people do not have to accept measures that, in a unilateral way, one government wants to impose on another,” Videgary said.

Is another war with Mexico on the horizon? 

Since the Mexico "leaders" allowed illegal immigrants from Central and South America to 'pass through' Mexico to get to the USA, then they damned well had better 'accept' them back into Mexico.  If not for Mexico waiving their even more stringent than US immigration policies, most of those illegals wouldn't be IN the USA.  Funny how that secret deal Obama made with Mexico never gets reported on.

Nah.  The wall isn't actually necessary.  At root, people cross the border because, in various ways, Americans pay them to cross the border.

A wall is required because invariably, once the illegals cross the border, leftists will invent a thousand reasons why they cannot be deported, how Mexico holds the reasonable position and once again, America must be left holding the bag.

In no case is Mexico's position reasonable. In no case does their responsibility end when the illegal's feet tough American soil. They funneled them/assisted their violation of our border. They are by definition, human traffickers. And by definition, people who provide cover for that are accessories to the crime. And running interference for Mexico on this side of the border is very much providing assistance to them.

I think there is more than a chance of just that.

Mexico is going to have to take back at least some of the illegals here.
At the very least, those convicted of criminal behavior and deported.

There are two choices:
1. They will accept them peacefully.
2. They'll accept them under threat of force, or after the use of force.

I have no problems with using the appropriate military force against Mexico to achieve choice #2 above.

Indeed, I think such force would be a far more appropriate use of the military to "defend the United States" than the [essentially] useless expeditions we are pursuing in the Middle East right now (particularly in Afghanistan).

The title is misleading.  Mexico won't take back non-Mexican citizens.  Yes, the ones from South America came through Mexico, BUT WE LET THEM IN.  Then, they became OUR problem.  We'll have to put them on a plane back to their original country.  Mexico will take back Mexican citizens.

Yes, but Mexico "let them in" first.  If Mexico had continued to enforce their strict immigration policies they wouldn't have been allowed to "pass through" Mexico to the US.  Since Mexico let them in first, I say it should be Mexico's problem to deal with now.

Considering Mexico does everything from printing comic books to instruction manuals showing how to milk America for bennies, they are most assuredly still responsible and WHEN the originating countries reject these people, Mexico can take them back, willingly or not.

If that entails using the Army to get them back across the border, I'm good with it. Mexico would buckle and run the first time they saw Apaches overhead and welcome the illegals back. Of course all we'd need to is cut off remittences and it would accomplish it without using military force.

Ever see the state of the Mexican AF? Seriously. The planes they have on display at bases are literally falling apart and ancient. Of the functional aircraft, I doubt they have pilots with enough actual flight hours to qualify them for a 152 Cessna much less be able to fly, target and down a sitting duck at the same time.
